  WELCOME What is Chiropractic? The body is an amazing machine! In fact, it is a self healing organism. Yes, it's designed to heal itself! For example, did you know you get a brand new liver every month? Every 24 days, all the old liver cells die in the body and it creates a whole new liver. The body is in a constant state of change and repair. In order to maintain this order in the body ,it has to managed by a master controller. The nervous system is what controls the body and all the healing and repair. It is like a computer control center to the entire body. It is constantly communicating to every single muscle, tissue, cell, nook and cranny of YOU! When it is functioning properly, you have the best health you have ever had in your life. This is called normal. However, if something interferes with the function of this system and the body is not able to do this, it will NOT be able to do what it is designed and programmed to do...and the body will begin to do its own thing. My job as a chiropractor is to remove an interference so that the body will function normally. And a subluxation? In simplest terms. a subluxation is when on or more of the bones of your spine move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body. If you interfere wit the signals traveling over the nerves, parts of your body will not get the proper nerve messages and will not be able to function at 100% of their innate abilities.
